The world's largest railway model


In US New Jersey, a old man called Bruce, with his wife help, spent 16 years in the basement of their own house, had hand-built a largest model railway in world. Many boys’ childhood dream, and Bruce make it all real.


This model has a total length of over 15 kilometers of track, above 100 trains in operation, and is equipped with 400 bridges with 3000 mini-buildings.


Furthermore, there are 50,000 streets with a total length of more than 122 cm big bridge on the model!



He named the model Northlandz.



In 1977, the model has been opened to the public as a tourist attraction.



This amazing architectural works has been certified by Guinness World Records, is the world’s biggest model railway.



He said, he spend 18-19 hours to take care of the model every days.


The tourists usually have to spend at least 2 hours to visit the whole model. The famous rock singer Rod Stewart and Neil Young had visited it.


Bruce said that in the rest of his life he would continue to maintain this model, so then more people around the world could see it.



The super massive size of this railway model with delicate landscape architecture is really amazing! Bruce’s spirit of pursue his dream is very impressive.
